E03S12Mara names the unlisted cargo
INT. DIVE SHED - DUSK
Wetsuits drip from a sagging line. A work lamp hums over the bench.
MARA pins three photographs to the corkboard: a hold door wedged half open. A chain, cut clean. A crate stencil eaten by rust.
She steps back and reads them like a tide table.
MARA
Fourteen names, fourteen berths.
So what needed a hold that size?
She taps the third photograph.
MARA
Crates. Unlisted. Somebody paid
to forget them.
The door scrapes. TEO stands in the doorway, half out of his wetsuit, a thermos in one hand.
TEO
You're talking to a corkboard.
MARA
The corkboard answers straight.
TEO
(eyes on the photographs)
Did you log it?
MARA
Not yet.
TEO
Mara. Did you log it.
MARA
Not yet.
Teo studies the photographs from the doorway. He does not come in.
TEO
Then it isn't real yet. Keep it
that way one more day.
He goes. Mara stays where she is — and the photographs stay on the corkboard.
